Jeb Dunnuck 90/100-Chateau Cohola Côtes Du Rhône Villages Sablet ROUGE 2017

"Moving to the red, the 2017 Côtes Du Rhône Villages Sablet checks in as a blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah that saw vinication and elevage in used barrels. Beautiful notes of ripe black cherries and black raspberries as well as peppery spice, licorice, and trufy earth all emerge from the glass, and it hits the palate with medium-bodied richness, a fresh, elegant texture, good underlying acidity, and a great finish. This is a classic wine that builds nicely with time in the glass, has loads of character, and should drink nicely for 7-8 years."
